Classes with the special notation: (TS) are taught by instructors certified in the Trauma-Sensitive Yoga model.

Energy Healing

Yoga

  • Kripalu Yoga Awakening Practice (intermediate): Awakening Practice: This slower paced yoga practice invites physical strength, flexibility and inner peace. The practice is an opportunity to draw attention inward to nourish energy, release stress, and tend to body / mind union. Through attention to breath awareness and postures students can cultivate a deeper sense of grounding and centering. Taught by Erica on Sundays 8:30am Must pre-register to attend.

  • Gentle Flow Yoga: A nourishing and stabilizing flow that promotes breath expansion, awareness, and stress reduction. The aim is to build strength and flexibility in a gentle way with accessible transitions and modified versions of traditional asana. Suitable for all levels. Taught by Cat on Wednesdays at 6:00pm. (In-Person + Zoom option). Must pre-register to attend. Drop-In’s are available— just email Cat to confirm.

  • Gentle Yoga for Joint Mobility & Stability: (TS) Taught by a yoga therapist, this class is designed to maintain healthy range of motion through a series of gentle movements, yoga postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques. Suitable for all levels. No prior yoga experience required. No need to get up and down off the floor - class is taught simultaneously for if you prefer to lie down, sit on the floor or in a chair, or stand. The class includes gentle joint movements, learning awareness of your individual range of motion. Then, we practice light stretching and holding of select yoga postures to encourage strength and flexibility. We also incorporate breathing exercises to help relax the body and mind. Class concludes with a period of relaxation or meditation. Taught by Sara on Wednesdays at 10:00am. (In-Person + Zoom option). Must pre-register to attend.

  • Kripalu Yoga Slow Flow: Experience a slow yoga flow intended to settle the busyness of mind, relax & reduce physical tension, and to encourage a deeper sense of inner peace and presence. This intermediate level yoga practice will focus on breath awareness & physical alignment. Taught by Erica on Tuesdays at 5:45pm. Must pre-register to attend.

  • Mindful Vinyasa: A strengthening flow that expands the breath, deepens awareness, and promotes balance and clarity. Expect to move through heat building poses and meditative states. Class includes modifications for multiple levels of practice. Taught by Cat on Mondays at 5:00pm. Must pre-register to attend. Drop-In’s are available— just email Cat to confirm.

  • Kripalu Yoga Settling Practice (intermediate): Evening settling practice: calming and quieting body / mind to release the day and prepare for sleep. Focus on body, breath & awareness to encourage integration of daily experience. This slower paced yoga practice offers flexibility and challenge, for grounded, centered, inner peace & calm. Taught by Erica on Thursdays at 6:00pm. Must pre-register to attend.

  • Yoga Tune Up®: Yoga Tune Up is a beautiful blend of self massage, flexibility, mobility & strength topped off with down regulation for your nervous system. Yoga Tune Up (r) has been known to reduce pain, improve posture and overall health and well being. All levels welcome. Please bring your own mat and props if you have them. I have Yoga Tune Up(r) balls for class use, and they are also available for purchase if you choose. Taught by Tammy on Fridays at 8:30am. Must pre-register to attend.

  • Zen Flow Yoga: These slow, gentle vinyasa flow classes integrate yoga, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques to help you discover your inner peace and well-being. Taught by Jeannie on Tuesdays at 7:30pm.

Fitness & Pilates

  • Ageless Strength: This class is tailored for all ages of women looking to build a foundation for strength and vitality for years to come. Class structure will involve resistance training (weights), functional everyday movements, flexibility, mobility, balance and core. You will need to bring your own hand weights. I recommend starting with lighter weights 3-5 pounds at first and working up to heavier weights as you progress in class at your own pace. Taught by Tammy on Mondays at 8:30am. Must pre-register to attend.

  • Pilates Mat: Pilates is a safe and effective mind, body and soul practice with benefits that include improved posture, balance, breath connection and capacity and overall body awareness. The class suits all body types, ages and levels of challenge that you decide for your needs. In each class you will embrace strength, tone, posture improvements and overall flexibility and core connection. I use different props sometimes to enhance your class experience. All levels are welcomed and please bring your own mat. Taught by Tammy on Wednesdays at 8:30am. Must pre-register to attend.

  • Pilates Mat Group Class: This is a mix level Pilates mat class. This class is a Low impact full body workout with emphasis in strengthening the core which include abs, back and hips. We will use small equipment like balls, bands and the magic circle. Bring a yoga mat, we will have a few to spare. Taught by Glenda on Saturdays at 9:00am. Must pre-register to attend.

Dance Classes

  • Contemporary Fusion Belly Dance (Level 1): Ready to try bellydance? This phenomenally fun contemporary fusion bellydance class will get you moving! Our level 1 class is a 6-week series for women who enjoy movement and dance. We will enjoy a great warm up, practice movement drills while incorporating strong technique, and learn fluid and soulful fusion combinations and introduce layered movements and traveling steps.. Taught by Joy on Thursdays at 7:15pm. Must pre-register to attend.

  • Contemporary Fusion Belly Dance (Level 2): In this class, dancers will learn and practice exciting and dramatic fusion choreographies! This intermediate level class is for experienced dancers who wish to learn dances and prepare for performance opportunities, which will be determined by audition. Students will be expected to pick up choreography, practice independently or additionally as needed, and if preparing for performance, secure costuming as determined and be available for scheduled performance opportunities. *Level 1 is required for Level 2 dancers. Taught by Joy on Thursdays at 8:15pm. Must pre-register to attend.
