Cat Mallone

Cat is a 200 hour certified Vinyasa Flow teacher and Level II Reiki practitioner. She received her training in India at Sampoorna to deepen her own practice and returned with a renewed sense of purpose to share the gifts of yoga. She encourages her students to embrace yoga as a lifestyle, an access point to daily habits and mindsets of joy and love, and real self-care.

With an emphasis on breath expansion, her classes are designed to build both outer and inner strength and flexibility. Her intention is to inspire deeper awareness, healing, and connectedness to others.

Erica is certified by Kripalu Yoga Center and Yoga 4 Cancer with Tari Prinster, and many years of experience teaching yoga for MS. The compassionate and non-judgmental roots of Kripalu yoga are a foundational part of Erica’s classes along with the intention to increase awareness of body, breath and mind for students of all levels with respect for everyone’s unique journey.

The healing benefits & integrative nature of yoga practices continue to inspire Erica to learn, grow, and share through teaching yoga. Sharing the tools of yoga to support people through cancer treatment and beyond is a privilege and a meaningful part of Erica’s work.

Glenda Rorick offers Pilates classes.

Glenda Rorick

Glenda has been practicing and teaching Pilates for over 17 years after earning her certification from Merrithew Pilates. She began to focus on Pilates after teaching group fitness classes and discovering the mind~body connection with Pilates is unique. Glenda’s training also includes certifications in Mat, Reformer, and Injuries and Special Populations.

Glenda focuses on strengthening muscles while preserving joint movement and flexibility. She wants clients to love their bodies and maintain vitality. Her classes are designed to challenge while being invigorating and relaxing at the same time.

On the personal side Glenda moved to the United States from Costa Rica in 1997 and is fluent in Spanish. She began her fitness journey in 2000 and has taught classes in a wide variety of disciplines at most of the major fitness clubs in Fairfield County.

Jeannie Hughes is a seasoned wellness professional with over 18 years of experience. As a 200-hour certified Yoga instructor, Fitness Trainer, Health Coach, and Life Coach, she offers comprehensive support for holistic well-being. Jeannie's yoga classes blend mindfulness with physical practice, promoting strength, flexibility, and inner harmony. She also specializes in guiding clients towards their health and fitness goals through motivational coaching.

Jeannie’s expertise extends to emotional intelligence and creativity enhancement through her certification as a CIJ Clarity Catalyst trainer. Originating from Stanford University, this transformative course equips clients with practical tools to reduce stress, enhance creativity, and improve performance, which is seamlessly integrated into her yoga classes.

Jeannie is dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve optimal health, happiness, and fulfillment. Through her compassionate approach and personalized strategies, she continues to positively impact the lives of her clients, fostering lasting lifestyle changes and profound transformation.


Sara Merrick-Albano, Yoga Therapy & Private Yoga

Sara Merrick-Albano

Sara, C-IAYT, is a yoga therapist who specializes in working with low back pain and autoimmune conditions. Yoga therapy sessions are one-on-one. She works with you to develop an individualized yoga practice that might include postures and movement, breathing, meditation, and philosophy. These practices help you build nervous system resiliency and bring you into a grounded state of awareness, facilitating the healing process.

Sara provides individual guidance and a customized yoga practice using the tools yoga offers in ways that will be best for the client. She accounts for injuries, current and past health issues, and above all the client’s goals for the yoga practice and their life. Sara’s teaching is pragmatic and non-dogmatic and does not hold to a specific lineage. Instead, she focuses on what works for the individual. The result is a client-driven practice that invites balance in the body and mind, both in the practice and in life off the mat.

A 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance, Sara has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and has over 1000 hours of training and over 2000 hours of teaching experience. She’s passionate about using yoga to help people restore balance to their lives. She has completed further trainings to hone her practice, including working with fascia, positional therapy for chronic pain relief, yoga for osteoporosis, sacroiliac joint care in yoga, pranayama and yogic meditation, and Ayurveda. She is a guest educator (YACEP) and mentor for yoga teachers-in-training.

Tammy is the creator of A Wellness Life, A Body, Mind & Soul studio. She is a health, fitness & wellness expert who is a certified Personal Trainer, Pilates & Yoga Tune Up instructor, Reiki and Mindfulness and Meditation practitioner and coach. Tammy educates and motivates her clients from athletes to elderly folks and everything in between by creating simple "soul-lutions" to find and maintain their own "wellness life!".

Sheryl meets students exactly where they are, offering accessible asana poses, pranayama breath work and guided restorative meditation in her Hatha and Bhakti “love” influenced yoga practice. Encouraging students to set an intention “Sankalpa”, to peel away notions of what is expected, to notice stress triggers: what and where we hold in the body, to observe and find joy in what is through honoring the present moment. She is an artist and creative script writer and has trained and taught in the field of healing arts for over 20 year and is both trauma and special needs certified. A Reiki master, therapeutic meditation guide, essential oils expert and AromaTouch® practitioner. She is the founder of “Yoginilini” peace and wellness practices, is a certified holistic mentor, privately coaching those who seek to make a powerful and enlivening shift in their lives.

Sheryl has studied group communication and family therapy, completed her yoga teacher training at Lotus Gardens in 2013, completed advanced Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra® training, Stretch What Matters® training for special needs, Kripalu TCTSY® training for trauma sensitivity, and completed PESI Animal Integration into Therapies training. Most recently she is developing a yoga and meditation series for chronic pain based upon her personal journey healing from traumatic injury, and is training her dog Gabriel for therapy work. She attributes daily meditation to cultivating Maitri, unconditional friendship with oneself, and to reopening the pathway of playfulness, acceptance and creativity in her life. Lisa Sheehan

Lisa is a Yoga Alliance certified instructor for both adults (E-RYT) and children (RCYT) and a continuing education provider (YACEP). Her classes focus on mindfulness, meditation and gentle yoga for stress reduction. Lisa is a registered Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) instructor through UMASS Medical School Center for Mindfulness; and holds specialized certifications in Restorative yoga, Yoga Nidra (Amrit 100 hour) & Mindfulness in Schools.
